We've been in Archontiko Mansion Porteli for 6 days (2 families 4 adults and 7 children) and it has been lovely We enjoy every minute. the house is great, really beautiful located in ancient village - Makrinitza . The host (Harris) was very kind and helpful. The house has a big and beautiful balcony with breathtaking view and a hot tub. The house is properly equipped with every thing you need and more . The lovely village has some restaurants and it is closed to many tourism sites and located about 30 minutes drive from Volos - the big city in Pillion . I truly recommend this site

The kitchen and living space were great. The bathroom had some water leak from the shower but not a big problem. The entire wall facing downhill to Volos and the ocean bay was glass windows. Wonderful view and very walkable to the town. Nice visit with the owner

Located at the top of Makrinitsa village we had stunning views while spending time & having our breakfast on the great open porch was a great start of our daily excursions around Pelion. Mr. George was a great host very friendly and eager to give advise on places to see and things to do around the area. we will definitely go back and probably even during summer.

They helpfully sent me the exact Google co-ordinates for finding it. There is parking which is great as parking can be tricky in the village. It's a beautiful village and Cardamo Restaurant by the main square served such tasty food. Breakfast is eaten on the terrace with magnificent view over Volos; fresh fruit would be nice.

Great view towards Volos & the sea! We were a family group of 13 including 5 children and the accommodation was fantastic for us in 4 different villas. We received great help from Vassillis, the manager & from Costas, the owner of the site. These two kind men helped a lot to make our stay as perfect as it could be.
