The ground floor is large and bright and features a well-equipped kitchen. Outside you can find loungers for everyone and tables and chairs that allow you to use every space of the property. The pool is gorgeous, great for swimming and playing but also perfect for lying in the shallow water and admiring the valley.

You can really feel that Darija put a lot of thought and attention in to making this beautiful place a home. It is spacious, every bedroom has its own bathroom and the kitchen is amazing for making group meals!

The house is spotless, very clean, super well equipped and comfortable. Big garden around the house, the terrace and the pool makes it even better, so good that you do not want to leave:) Location is perfect, in a tiny quiet village, far away from crowds. We will come back for sure!

Nadja and Paolo are exceptional nice hosts. Nadja welcomed us with fresh baked cake as well as self-celtered wine for us and a bottle of self-made elderflower sirup for the kids. She is very helpful with recommendations for trips and walks in the neighbourhood. The kids loved to play with the dogs, feed the chicken and the guinea pig. It is a very safe and family friendly place with very limited traffic. We very much enjoyed the authentic, nicely reconstructed house situated in the charming village nestled at the top of the hill and surrounded by lush nature, fields, vineyards and historic sites and abandoned villages to explore. The delicious food in the taverne of Nezic Agritourizam was prepared by Nadja herself from local incredients and was very good. It was served by Paolo who even had some phrases in German for us. Nadja was very open and provided us with many interesting facts on the house and the village.

It was beautiful, quiet, felt incredible to be in the old yet beautifully redone building! Easy walk to the main building where we enjoyed the sauna and hot tub!! The morning breakfast was fantastic! There's only one restaurant in the vicinity, but it's really good and makes for a great summer evening dinner. Overall a nice location if you're looking for a retreat away from crowds.

Recommend at least two nights to take advantage of all the area has to offer - as well as taking some time out to savour the view from casa Maršic - hang out and relax on the terrace or while away some time in the hammock. It’s a perfect opportunity to sample what feels like a slice of history in this renovated house and with the gorgeous village of Oprtalj just up the road.
