This house was perfect! The setting is so peaceful and quiet. A great location for exploring the peninsula. It is well equipped with everything you need to prepare meals, and relax. It was our mid-week stop so being able to do some laundry was a bonus.

The smallest details like the handmade cups and organic icelandic soaps made it feel luxurious but homey. The staff were absolutely amazing, they went out of their way to make our stay so special and memorable. Krzysztof the night guard was super helpful and nice as well as the woman (sadly didn’t get her name) who served breakfast and was a great host during the day. It was advertised as such so I am not complaining. The price was reasonable by Icelandic standards. It was clean and I was able to sleep well. The place also had free breakfast which was plentiful and good. All in all I would definitely go there again. Do not expect too much luxury though.
