Larger one of two cottages on a lovely farm opposite the sea, about 13km south of Porshofn. Very comfortable, clean and cosy. A wonderful location and view. Good little kitchen (note: no oven). Would definitely stay again.

The facility was immaculate. Barrons Restaurant nearby was excellent. Had some added treats brought for us at breakfast time. Our sheep neighbors were just across the street from the villa in the morning.

Breakfast was served at the petrol station, which also belongs to the guesthouse operators. The fishing village is located directly on the 85 and thus a good starting point for excursions on the north coast of Iceland, e.g. to Dettifoss, etc.

I have stayed in several small luxury hotels, which is the only thing I can compare this to. However, the attention to detail was amazing and surpassed most of my other experiences by far.
