1. It is literally in the beach. Or I could say it has its private beach. 2. The place is spacious and comfortable. It has everything that needs for vacation. Coffee, tee, olive oil, water in kitchen; soup and everything you need to wash yourself or your clothes. Even a bike for a ride. 3. The internet was excellent. Kids enjoyed tv. 4. The place is walk distance from restorants and supermarkets. 5. The city is a small one, but it is very close to any other bigger place in Como.

Good location - quiet and nice walking possibilities in 100 m. This city is not filled with tourists. The heating was working nice in November, which is not often in Italy. The kitchen has everything that you need. Nice garden. Everything is spacious. The owner is super friendly and provided us with basic things on arrival. We didn't had to search where to dispose the garbage, everything was organized the the owner. Big bed is very comfortable. We can imagine staying in this apartement even for very long time as it is very well equiped.

The kitchen and bathroom were fantastic. We got the train to some near by towns / villages which was great. The weather wasn't great when we went but our lovely host had umbrella's to spare and was really helpful!

Host Luca couldn't have been more helpful. Dervio itself is a lovely little village with several shops and restaurants within walking distance, a train station 10 minutes walk from the villa, and a ferry terminal from which you can reach Varenna, Bellagio and Mennagio within an hour or so. There are more ferries from Bellano and Varenna, both of which are a short train ride away. We had a wonderful time!
