We had an exceptional stay at the apartment! It is super clean, very well equipped, located in a nice quiet place 9-10 minutes away from Varenna. There is a nice clean beach within 10 minutes of walking from the apartment. The hosts were very, very nice and helpful. Our car was blocked by another car in Varenna, and our hosts picked us up from there at 1 a.m. You don't meet such nice people very often. If we travel to lake Como again we'll definitely stay at the same place. We will certainly recommend this gem to others.

Cristina is a wonderful host. Very attentive and helpful. She even gave us some delicious homemade fig jam. The house is very quaint and clean, and the location is tucked away on a pedestrian only street on the hillside above Varenna.

Absolutely loved the location, the view was amazing and it was located in a nice and quiet residential area. The TV was Netflix enabled which was nice, which we didn’t have in other places we stayed at. Beth was so nice and helpful, she picked us up at the train station and offered to take us back at the end of our stay as well which was much appreciated. She gave us great tips and informations for the area on places to visit and restaurants as well.

Our stay was fantastic (couple with dog). The property is fully equipped and very clean. In addition, you have complete privacy, the garden is very well fenced, which is nice if you have a dog and a great view over the lake, breathtaking. The manager of the house was very friendly and helpful. We will absolutely come back again.

The location is very picturesque and unique in that you have to walk down a mountain path to get to Varenna. It takes about 12-15 minutes and parts of the path are steep. The path comes out right at the ferry terminal in Varenna so it's convenient. Hiking back up can take about 25-30 minutes including breaks. The interior of the villa is fairly represented by the pictures. What the pictures don't do it justice is the terrace on the top floor. It is expansive with a beautiful view of Lake Como and the hillside and definitely a place to enjoy your coffee/breakfast before heading down the mountain path! The one restaurant in the hillside village (which Cristina would point out to you) is superb! So is Castle Vezio! Both are just steps from the villa!

Everything was great - location with fantastic view, fresh air, delicious breakfast and hospitality, landlady was very nice. The place is quiet and located close to Varenna from where you can get to Bellagio/Mennagio and famous villas via boat. Place is very atmospheric, there is a table outside where you can spend evenings enjoying the view. Very comfortable big bed, everything you need is in a room (for example hair dryer).
