The room was located by the sea with a great view. It's clean, cozy, warm and well stocked with all necessities. Marcel was very friendly and helpful. Our car had a battery problem in the morning and wouldn't start, Marcel helped to start the car and helped us to contact the car rental company to solve the problem. It was an unforgettable experience, thanks again to Marcel and his house. Highly recommend staying here.

It is situated near Å, Sørvågen, and the Moskenes ferry port. Easily accesible by the public bus too. The view is magnificent and the place was very calm. When we were staying there, we realized that we booked one day less than we should have while hiking. The management (Hendrik) was very understanding with the circumstances and helped us resolve the issue (luckily it was possible to extend our stay).

Easy check-in; do be careful to pay close attention to the email sent with instructions on where to find accommodations. Tight quarters in the kitchen, but the hostel wasn’t overly busy, so it was a non-issue. Enjoyed the coastal artwork in the room and hallway - it really had a nice home-like cozy vibe.

Lots of seagulls and good hiking areas, and the atmosphere of fishing village with read cottages partly over the sea is super. Room was just 3 beds, but toilets right next to the room. To walk in one of the best preserved fishing villages in heartlands of the traditional Lofoten wintertime fisheries, to view upon seas where my grandfather, great grandfather and earlier ancestors sailed and sought catches of Arctic cod for livelihoods in this high north of Norway - for me a deeply resonating stay. I did, however, enjoy staying at this hostel, located in a historic building. Our room was quite large for three people. Good shower area and communal bathrooms. Free parking was easy to find. There are, fortunately, two places nearby for meals/snacks (the Museum cafe and Brygga waterfront restaurant; otherwise, A does not offer much else besides beautiful scenery.DavidFamily with young children
