At first we couldn't find it. But after a phonecall to the number at the bookingreservation, we received the right address. The host was humble, very friendly and we felt really welcome there. Real Omani experience. Saif made us feel so welcome. Showed us around and took us to see the sunset. Made a fire for us in the evening. Traditional Omani breakfast was lovely. Beds and bedding super comfortable.

The dinner and breakfast were very tasty, free parking is nearby and the owner is very hospitable and friendly (and amazing pictures on the wall from her own collection). Special place to spend some time in this old sheik’s home in between ruins of the old village, palm trees and enjoy the lovely roodtop terrace with 3 lovely house dogs (Mindy, Bella and Panchito) roaming around.

It has a lot of place to share time with other guests inside and a big terrace with great view to the old village and mountains. Highlight is the roof terrace with incredible views of the surrounding village and mountains. If you are looking for an authentic experience in a unique, historic setting (whilst not expecting luxury), this is a nice place.
