Fantastically renovated house near the piscinas at Biscoitos. Maybe the most comfortable and beautiful stay we’ve had across 3 trips to the Azores. When we had an issue with the shower, the host fixed it within a couple of hours. An amazing property.

The innkeepers masterfully repurposed this ancient stone circular mill into a fantasy overnight one will never forget.

Hong Kong
Of all the places we stayed in the Azores, this was our absolute favorite. Raquel was an utterly fabulous host who attended to our every need while still giving us a sense of privacy and space. The flats are beautifully designed and appointed, with an eye on quality furnishings and finishings. They are spacious and everything you could need was included to cater for yourself during your stay. The bed was divine, as were the linens. The space itself is quiet and you will be amazed by the number of birds you hear - even given their numbers in the Azores! Guests can wander the grounds and there is a pool that can be enjoyed as well. The town is walking distance; the sea and tidal pools are a bit farther. Parking is easy and near the accommodation; cars are probably necessary for staying in this space. Overall, we could not recommend this property more highly and will definitely return next time we're in Terceira!

Senhora Luzia was an exceptional host, couldn't ask for someone better. She was always ready to help me and my family with anything we needed. She made us a cake to welcome us and also got us some wine. Like she said she loves to host. She also had suger, butter, eggs milk and coffee. She treated me like family and today she emailed me to find out about my trip to another island and if we landed ok. We talked and laughed and she shared some of her recipes. I will for ever have her in my heart. Anyone that sees my review dont hesitate to book your trip to this beautiful home and the beautiful natural pools.

There are excellent cafes and restaurants nearby, a winery to tour and a wine museum. Sandra is a friendly accommodating host. Her welcome was a good initiation to the island. She was very quick to answer our questions about the island.

The people are helpful, have a great hospitality, share their food and drinks, are honest and clean. We appreciated the big help of Mafalda. The Moinho was well located in a quiet village. We enjoyed the time inside. We had a comfortable bed. On a rainy day we had a shelter in the kitchen where we cooked and enjoyed a cup of wine. Best sleep in my entire holiday. We have no negativity on this stay. Mafalda is a great host! We would come back if we can.
