Casas da Estação is located next to the train station of Beirã – Marvão and has Marvão Castle views. Each of the air conditioned apartments includes a rustic décor and a private patio.
The apartments all include a recently-renovated kitchenette with a ceramic cooking hob. A seating area with flat-screen cable TV is also provided. Central heating is standard, and each comes with a bathroom with heated towel rails. The property features a small water reservoir.

We stayed at Quinta d'Abegoa's apartment, Casa do Souto, which is very cosy and ideal for two people. Everything is really well thought out so the apartment felt bigger than it actually was. The bed is very comfortable and the shower is excellent. The outside space is beautiful - we loved sitting out, listening to the birds and the bells from the sheep, while enjoying the views of the both the castle and over towards the mountains and Spain. We made the most of being able to walk to restaurants in Marvao (although it is uphill all the way!) but we also cooked at the property - the kitchen is tiny but is very well-equipped and has everything you need to self-cater. Our host, Rosa, looked after us extremely well, bringing us breakfast every day, and nothing was too much trouble. We love the area around Marvao and will definitely return for another stay at Casa do Souto.

The location is exceptional, very close to restaurants, a swimming pool and with an amazing view to the Marvao castle. Check-in/out with Sonia was easy and she was very welcoming. We really appreciated her kind gifts of bread, chorizo, jams and red wine - all of which were delicious. It is a lovely house with everything you need to self-cater. It has a fabulous outdoor area with lots of seating, a swimming pool with loungers and a BBQ. The location is very scenic and ideal to visit Marväo and Castelo de Vide. We would have loved to have stayed longer.

It's an amazing place. We were there in December, the room was cozy warm. Such a small village that pretty much anywhere is easily walked, but Dom Dinis is at the castle end has to be as good as it can be. There is a cosy shared sitting room ( complimentary port on hand) and the most spectacular views from the large windows of the sitting and dining areas. We loved the old fashioned ambience of the historic house, which was ideally located for a walking tour of the hilltop village. Delicious breakfast too.

There's a castle right next door and the village itself is fun to wander around in. The owner of the hotel was friendly and gracious, and the room was perfect. It felt like I was staying in a distant relative's home and not a hotel. Also, the breakfast was incredible. Definitely sign up for breakfast.
