By far and without a doubt the best accommodation in the area. Mrs. Lucas, the property owner, manages her own accommodation. She makes it absolutely spotless and flawless. The apartments are structured as actual living spaces that you can stay on for a lengthy period of time. The kitchen is fully equipped. Stove, microwave, Oven, fridge, coffee maker, water boiler, toaster, blending machine to make those savory fresh juices from local fruits, food processor, sandwich maker, as well as many kitchen tools (different plates sizes, utensils, cups, milk frother, olives container, storage containers, mincers, plus many many more) All the cleaning equipment necessary. Two dining tables. Two toilets, one shower. For the eastern/Muslim travelers, one of the toilets has a faucets to clean afterwards, rather than simply using toilet paper. Strong fast WiFi, plenty of storage spaces, decorated to the last spot. Two balconies with two different great views and seating. Air-conditioning and fans. TV with option of online streaming service and HDMI if you want to connect to your laptop. Or otherwise the local channels as well. We came in as a family of three. Needing some aid with infant accommodation. Mrs. Lucas was great enough to provide us with a cot and high infant chair. Beach towels + beach mat provided when going to the beach. Furthermore, walking distance supermarkets + restaurants + bus stop + beach.

Everything about our stay at Bois Joli was perfect. The villa is lovely and private, surrounded by jungle. The hosts, Richard and Judith, are so friendly, informative, and prompt. The location on a mountainside adds a sense of adventure and a change of pace from the usual accommodations, and very well placed, especially for exploring the south of Mahé and Victoria. A rental car really is necessary, unless you want to pay a lot for taxis. The design of the grounds, the villa, and the pool are aesthetically pleasing, calming, and done by Richard himself. The staff, especially Brenda the manager, she was really helpful and very polite, Charlie and Sharefa. The property was clean, great view around it, the pool is clean and big, the design of the property and the size.

Pretty much everything. We were a party of 8 sailing the islands and wanted a place for one night (New Year's Eve) to organize our own party with food, BBQ, drinks, dancing etc and then being able all 4 couples to catch up some Zzzs the day after. It was wonderful and we had a lot of fun until the early hours. Danielle, the hostess was very charming, accommodating and helpful. The house is up the hill on some steep winding road but very manageable and once reaching the house you are rewarded with a very beautiful view of the bay and the Indian Ocean. Priceless. For the price we paid, of course you don't expect some sort of 5* stuff, but all is nice, clean and honest just like the locals would have... and this is what we were looking for. It is not a hotel it is a self-catering in a truly local house. I would certainly recommend it.

The view was great, plenty of parking, there’s a laundry machine, very clean and comfortable inside. This part of the island is also very nice.

We stayed at South Point Villas for 4 nights as a group of 4. We loved the entire experience: the location, the accommodation, the kayaks, the snorkelling at the nearby reef, the views and privacy. A huge thank you to Michel and Christine who looked after us so extremely well. We would love to come back one day!
