it was a nice, clean, quite and well equipped cottage. We arrived on the dark which made it difficult to find but with of the friendly neighbours we were able to find it. The last bid of the road was a little 👻 bumpy. Bedsheets and towels were reserved and were handed to us. we bought wood for the open fire 🔥 (recommended in the dark season to make it even more cosy) from the lady that handed us the towels & sheet for a very reasonable price)

After reading the other reviews for this place, I was pleasantly surprised. We found it easily (parking spot with a sign right on the road after you pass the farm on your left). We took our own bedding, but there was plenty there and of a decent quality. It was well stocked, with cute little notes dotted around, and lots of battery powered lighting. The jetty was amazing, and I sat there in solitude for a couple of hours before my husband and son woke up. Then we spent much of the day there, bird watching (using the binoculars and bird books from the stuga) swimming, sunbathing and reading. It was the most idyllic place to ‘koppla av’ and we all had the best nights sleep. If you’re not afraid of a Swedish sommar/skogstuga and happy to be in nature without electricity or hotel room service then this is absolutely the place to book. We will definitely return. Thankyou for sharing this little slice of peace with us, Solweigh.
