The villa is equipped with 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, bed linen, towels, a flat-screen TV with streaming services, a dining area, a fully equipped kitchen, and a terrace with mountain views. There is also a seating area and a fireplace.

This place is perfect if you want a quiet location with Alttajärvi lake on one side and the woods and hill on the other side. We enjoyed the winter walks along the trails and walking on the lake! The location is perfect to spot northern lights and being close to IRF you can use the Aurora Alert on IRF Aurora App. Even when cloudy in Kiruna, Alttajärvi had clear sky with amazing star display of the milky way. Not much light pollution here!! Kiruna is only 15 mins away by car. The house has what you need for a few days. Washing machine has a 15min program and things dry easily over night on radiators or the clothes airer. Sheets and towels are provided. The fireplace is an extra plus! You can buy wood at petrol stations! Husky tours you will found everywhere! The mine is worth a visit! Northern light chase is for people without a car, you just need to step outside when nature decide to put on a display. Abisko has clearer nightsky so the probability to see it increases if you take yourself there.

Aurora River Camp Glass igloos & cabins, a property with a terrace, is situated in Kiruna, 19 km from Kiruna Train Station, 17 km from Kiruna Bus Station, as well as 20 km from LKAB Visitor Centre. This property offers access to a patio, free private parking and free WiFi. Staff on-site can arrange a shuttle service.

Perfect stay in Kiruna and great value for money. We stayed at the riverfront igloo and had transfer from / to Kiruna station, sauna, and breakfast included ! I would definitely recommend trying the igloo experience if you get the chance. We just stayed one night, but we had time to visit the Ice Hotel (you can reach it by walk in 20-30 minutes), then to do a sauna, and to watch the northern lights!! It was just the perfect Arctic experience!! The igloo is very comfortable, warm, and cosy. Tony was really helpful. He made a stop at the supermarket after picking us up at Kiruna station so that we could buy some stuff (I definitely recommend you buy food before getting to the camp), and he helped us with the igloo equipment. Also, he arranged to prepare breakfast a bit earlier for us so that we could catch our train to Abisko. Note: Just note that there is no shower inside the igloo. Showers are located in the main building (which is a few steps by) they are clean and functional.

Set in Kiruna in the Norrbotten region and Kiruna Train Station reachable within 4.1 km, Aurora Cabin offers accommodation with free WiFi, barbecue facilities, ski-to-door access and free private parking. With inner courtyard views, this accommodation features a patio. The holiday home features a sauna and a shared kitchen.

It was a late-minute booking from the Kunglseden trip, and only this cabin was available in our budget. We needed to kill the time before our night train to Stockholm, and staying there was beyond our expectations! The cabin (twin room) was pleasantly warm, equipped with a small kitchenette fridge and TV. The toilet and sauna were a few steps outside away - we didn't mind that inconvenience. The sauna was self-running, and cleaning instructions were provided across the whole house. We were lucky as we were able to catch up with the first aurora borealis in the new season, as the beautiful garden was the perfect spot for taking pictures/videos of them! The supermarket Coop was nearby and was convenient for us.

Stunning location with the amazing view and a possibility to see northern lights. The hut is very cozy, an authentic experience of a little village life - preparing your own meals, sauna, stove etc. The host is available on the phone at almost any time..

This is an absolutely beautiful, very affordable campsite, directly located at a lake. The staff was very friendly, accommodating and helpful. This is not a luxury spa, but it does not intend to be and has everything you want for a cosy, comfortable stay in the middle of wonderful nature. One aspect that was more amusing than disturbing: almost active-aggressive, humorous (rather than passive-aggressive) signs for driving the message home that you as a guest have to keep the campsite clean.

Cozy, comfy, a perfect retreat. Our room was warm and clean, and came with a lovely loft. The sauna was heavenly in the cold winter. Ski gears can be borrowed for free, and there was lots of snow right outside to ski on. Shout out to Mikko and co who runs the place so well!
