The location was perfect - just on the brim of the town. Save and quiet. The host gave us such a friendly welcome and accommodated all our needs that we felt like friends from the moment we walked unto the property. She listened to our specific needs and accommodated us accordingly. The cottage was beautifully decorated, spacious and clean and super comfortable. Parking right next to our cottage, and a lovely private outside area where we could enjoy supper or have a braai should we wanted to. We truly felt at home.

It is so comfortable, and beautifully decorated, with great taste; fresh flowers everywhere.The house is huge, with lovely grounds; we sat on the stoep for hours admiring the fantastic views of the countryside and the mountains. Very peaceful indeed. It is very well equipped, the log fired hot tub is great fun to use, and the host so very kind and helpful. Fantastic braai too. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

They offer horse rides with calm and relaxed horses. Very good for experienced and inexperienced riders. We took a 3-4 hours tour which was one of the best experiences we made during our 3 weeks South Africa trip. So relaxing, great views, nice talks to our guide and host Linda. Peace and tranquility at its best, along with living outside of a big city, farm life, but with all the luxury of a modern cottage. Friendly host, nice rooms, extremely comfortable bed, beautiful bathroom with a nice shower, awesome views of the surrounding landscape along with farm animals. Was a nice surprise having cows at our window greeting us in the morning.

Lovely short stay for a quick visit, but made it feel like a break. Very hospitable and also offered to include the kids in feeding lambs and chickens. Rural, but luxurious. Everything you need, including firelighters and matches.
