There are two markets and a gas station very close by for all your basic needs. Also there was a great bar and restaurant called moyas and a german bakery that was fantastic. House had just enough things to be able to cook for our family of 7. It's about a 45-60 min drive to arenal national park and la fortuna. Showers were hot and house had all our basic needs.

The views were just amazing. We woke up the first morning and was not able to see the lake at all. But by the second morning, we could see the lake, mountain ranges, windmills in the distance, it was beautiful. The house was cute and well appointed. Beds were comfortable. Having the pool there during the hot days was awesome. The pool was the perfect place to cool off.

The hosts were superb from start to finish, very accommodating and friendly, offering local advice and great recommendations. They went out of their way to make sure our stay was comfortable and relaxing. The bed is comfortable, the bathroom is clean and modern and the kitchen area has everything you need. The pool area is amazing.

Pie in the Sky 3 Amazing Luxury Home with Lake and Volcano view is a semi-detached holiday home set in El Fosforo in the Alajuela Region and is 13 km from Fortuna. You can relax by the outdoor pool in the garden and make use of the barbecue. A wonderful place! ... Really "in the sky", all around only nature, no view of houses. Very good for birdwatching, toucans come by daily and hummingbirds are everywhere. There is an observation platform. You can see the volcano and Lake Arenal from everywhere on the property and the many armchairs grouped around the house. The people from the agency are very friendly and helpful. We missed some things in the kitchen and bedside lamps, everything was done immediately. You have to know that there are three units on the property. In addition to the large house with four bedrooms (which we rented), there is a (very) small unit in a kind of garden house for 2 people and another house with 2 bedrooms.
