It was the perfect runaway from city and a perfect location to work remotely. the tastiest wine offered by Khvicha and breakfasts and snacks during the day.

But the best part is the friendly host family and the tremendous hospitality from their side: I was offered a ride from the airport, which is about half an hour away, on my arrival I was given a bottle of wine. During my stay I was given a variety of the best pastries I have ever had, from the local Georgian cuisine of course. I had to ask for smaller portions-as it was too much for me to finish:) It was a one of a kind experience, and as a frequent traveler, I have never encountered anything remotely similar. I highly recommend it for your stay in Kutaisi.

The hostes was the sweetest lady and made us feel very welcome. She treated us as if we were family. ♡ The apartment is big with very high ceilings and very decorative details. Bathroom was spacious. House is in walking distance of the center of the city but is situated in a courtyard just off the main road which made it very comfortably quiet. Airco and a fan made it cool inside the house. All the beds were made. The description said there would be a kichen/kitchenette. There was no kitchen, just a water boiler, microwave and a fridge. I had hoped to cook a simple meal for my family which I couldn't. A perfect place to stay if you plan eating out. The hostess can prepare breakfast for a small price.

Bagrati Cathedral is 8.3 km from the villa and Kutaisi Train Station is 9.1 km away. The villa was really exceptional. Having a big amazing garden (fenced) with swing, hammock and a beautiful terrace in the a middle of the forest is just perfect. One of the best places to relax and unwind. Another plus is the upper terrace which can be opened to get the master bed out on it. Not mentioning the amazing host Nino, she was always in contact to make sure we were happy and well settled and big thanks to her husband as well for his amazing support.

So I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of Magdan guesthouse. It is located in a quite place not far from the centre. The view from the terrace is amazing. The room is pretty convinient, it even has some space to make the morning exercises. And it has its own bathroom. The only point was that it was impossible to open the window, but the fan makes its work, so it is not hot in the room. So it is a nice place, and I recommend it.
