The nearest airport is Akureyri Airport, 84 km from the holiday home. Wow! This was by far my best stay in Iceland! The cottage was spotless, had a very well-stocked kitchen, and a beautiful sitting area to see the mountains while eating breakfast. It's on a beautiful farm with horses, sheep, ducks, and a very cute dog! This is a must stay!!!

The location was amazing with views of mountains and hills ❤️ the property had everything for relaxing from views to books to read and a hot tub to relax in what more would you want. The shower was the best shower by far on our stays around Iceland so a big thumbs up for that. We had done so much on our trip around Iceland that this was a chill-out time for both of us before moving on. Don’t hesitate booking Svartaborg Villas they are superb!!!

This accomnodation was perfect, it has everything you may need, its beautiful, is located in a quiet area near town, and the owner was really friendly. It was by far the best price/quality apartment in which we stayed during our trip.

Guests can enjoy a meal on an outdoor dining area while overlooking the mountain views. For added privacy, the accommodation features a private entrance. The interior of the house was an unexpected, and very cool, surprise. The host even brought us coffee as she couldn't remember if it had been stocked or not. Though we didn't use it, the house had both a washer and dryer for our use.

Located on a farm in Árhólar 11 km from the main road, Laxárdalur Cabin offers cottages with a kitchen, dining area and private bathroom Einarsstaðir is a 45-minute drive away, while Akureyri is 80 km away. Guests benefit from free WiFi. Super clean and functional cottage. It had all we needed.

Everything was stylish and comfortable, loved the floor heating and big windows and high sealings.
