We loved the staff and the atmosphere. The pool, the garden and the villa is so beautiful. We would definitely stay again if we come back.

The design was nice with villa like rooms spread out around a pool.

It was a really stunning old 1930s villa with all the original furniture and fittings- even the light switches! Our bedroom was huge and absolutely beautiful.It felt like more of a home than a hotel, the pool was lovely and we had it all to ourselves, the food (breakfast and simple lunches) was the best we’ve had in all the hotels we’ve stayed in in Cambodia, being home cooked by amazing cooks. The staff (particularly front desk) were lovely and very helpful

Everything was amazing. Anna and Sam were so welcoming and kind. This accommodation was just perfect. The garden was spectacular. Their friend David took us around to see Battambang, he was lovely and showed us things we would never had seen normally. Thank you Anna and Sam for an amazing time. Not for you if you want to live in luxury, if you want nature, bird song and authenticity, eco-friendly accommodation do not hesitate to book. 10 out of 10

This is an absolutely fantastic homestay and we couldn’t recommend it enough! The room is very comfortable and clean and even has a private bathroom. Savet is extremely knowledgable about the local area and Cambodia in general and we learnt so much from him. His family are lovely too and the food we ate was some of the best we’ve had in Cambodia! We also did the full day tour including cycling round his village which we also thoroughly recommend booking alongside this.

Nice little villa in a peaceful, quiet location. They have created a lovely oasis with lots of greenery and a great pool.

Very nice place to stay in Battambang, they can organise tuktuk tour with a nice guy, taking you to the caves, temples, bamboo train and other place to discover the village. Good food, nice room. They also organise trips to other city!

The host family are lovely and very attentive and the bungalows are set alongside paddy fields. It gave us a real insight into Cambodian village life. The showers are by bucket from a big water urn but this is fine and we actually extended our stay because it was so restful.

In the midst of a bustling Battambang, this truly was a cosy paradise! We had the 2 bed villa and the rooms were lovely and big, and extremely clean. The bed was firm but comfortable and the decor was tasteful. We ate a lovely breakfast at the hotel next door and their pool was also great for a morning swim. Overall a very good experience and would definitely recommend.

Outstanding service, wonderfully appointed period building, good breakfast. A truly unique and memorable experience at La Villa. Nothing was too much trouble for the friendly hotel manager and his team. The period furnishings and photographs are so interesting, and my 3yo son lived the pool and exploring the mansion.
