The host, who is an artist, is very welcoming. Most of the decorations are made by her. She took care of us and prepared a typical breakfast that was served in her beautiful studio. Location of the accommodation is really good, as it is along the main street of the "old town" of Gyeongju. Archaeological sites and the traditional hanok village are very close by, as are many restaurants and cafes. The modern city centre is further away but also at a walkable distance. The host is very helful and friendly.
The breakfast was very good. The host was most helpful. The bathrooms, while detached, were clean and nice. The ambiance of the river and the village was unparalleled!
Spacious apartment with fully equipped kitchen, big double spa bath and swimming pool below the balcony. Hot spa bath in the room was free to use despite what we read beforehand. Bed on a low ceiling mezzanine was very comfortable. Everything was spotlessly clean. 10 minute walk to property from bus stop through endearingly quirky village. Very upmarket cafes nearby on side of the reservoir.
Great location, very close to the Hanok village but in a quiet place. Rooms are big and clean. English speaking staff, the owner was very kind and offered me free laundry service because I stayed 3 nights. The reception closes at 9pm, remember to ask for the password or you can’t enter 😀
Fun concept of apartment with pool! Great view onto the sea! Loved the little sea village feel.
Great location, beautiful Hanok and courtyard! Owner was very nice and kind, made breakfast. Located right in the middle of Hanok Village. Hanok has heated floors, so my sleep was very comfortable.
In a great location and the hanok village is beautiful. Great place to stay if you want to experience a traditional Hanok stay.
Luxurious felling - good bed - fridge with water - robes and a big towel.
The guesthouse is located in the perfect spot to use it as a base point to visit Hahoe village as it is at walkable distance from the train station and the bus terminal. The ground floor is a nice cat café full with books. It is really cozy and welcoming. Here they serve the included breakfast which features a lot of options. The room was very spacious, comfortable, and equipped with literally everything you might need including all toiletries. They let you use the laundry free of charge.
Host was friendly and shared about his personal anecdotes during check in. A unique experience as it is a traditional hanok stay. The floor and water heater worked well in the winter, and the room was well insulated. It is also located near a bus stop but it is important to be mindful of when the buses stop operating as well. The bus ride to Hahoe Folk Village took 5 minutes.
