Established in 1892, The Gore London - Starhotels Collezione is a charming boutique hotel located in the heart of South Kensington, offering 50 lavishly-appointed bedrooms packed with history. The staff were extremely nice and helpful. The decoration was sublime. The bed was the most comfortable.

This elegant 19th-century town house is about 500 metres from Royal Albert Hall and Hyde Park. It features a small gym, spacious bedrooms, and a bar with patio for snacks and tapas. Read carefully: The hotel location is excellent, it’s nearby all public transportation buses and train lines (5-10 minutes walk) the rooms are good sizes not that big but fit for purpose. The shower 24/7 has hot water , the room has boiler and daily supplies are provided for coffee , milk , tea , sugar etc . The room has split unit AC. The area of the hotel is excellent and very quiet most time of the day. Many restaurants are nearby walk : pizza express, 5 Arabic restaurants (baba ghanouj closing late night) Starbucks and 4 other coffee shops just behind the hotel. Hyde park is 5 minutes away , I really enjoyed every moment in the hotel.
