How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

I would have been happy to pay a few Euros extra for a water kettle and instant coffee in the room. It would have been great with a sink in the toilet, washing my hands in the separate bathroom was a bit inconveniet.
Friendly personel and a really tidy hotel. Good vibe!

The toilet doesn't have a wash-hand basin which we didn't like, so we had to use the one in the bath. The ventilation in the room and bathrooms were not the best as well.
We knew the room was a bit small, so it wasn't a surprise for us, but the room was clean and nicely decorated. The breakfast was also good enough. I guess the location was also fine since there were a couple of bus stops and a metro station nearby. The internet was also interestingly really good. Overall it was a good stay for us.

It's budget hotel, so everything is small, without much furniture, refrigerator (you can borrow hairdryer in reception) or any space for luggage. TV has blocked Netflix, Youtube and you will not able to connect your phone. Also it was very strange that last day cleaning stuff enter room without knocking or waiting when we will check out.
Room was clean, quiet and have curtains for making enough dark in night. Hotel is close to metro, Tiergarten, Zoo, and it is placed in relatively quiet street. We are eating outside of hotel. There is also small "market refrigerator" in reception for beverages to buy.

Obviously nobody loves renovation work there was some noise during the day but I was hardly in the hotel then so it wasn't any issue everything else was fine
The staff were very lovely and helpful there is some renovation work going on at the hotel the currently which is probably making their lives quite difficult but they couldn't have been more helpful and they also gave me a birthday surprise in my room which was very lovely for a budget hotel. The hotel is extremely close to the U barn underground it's within a five-minute walk of the zoo loads of shops restaurants and other transport links so all in all it was a very good stay.

Everything perfect, but the water tap via which we supposed to drink, is in bathroom only. Would be good, if drink and bathroom tap should be separate.

The room was a bit too small for the three of us, 2 adults 1 12 year old. Windows not sound proof. Bed quite hard and lumpy pillow(pillow soon changed by very helpful staff)

The receptionists. No guidance- only pay and go attitude. The parking area.
The location- Easy to find, near by metro, walk distance to Tiergarten, attractive environment -neighborhood. The breakfast and the breakfast Staff. They are very kind,helpful and hard-working. The bathroom is very good. The Wi-Fi is also fine.

The pillows is very small and of poor quality. Even considering the hotel's low-cost proposal, pillows like these shouldn't be used.

The lack of a hairdryer and electric kettle in the room is a little annoying. And very small room.
Great location. All is clear in the room. Nice area. Shopping centers, restaurants and a sightseeing bus stop are nearby.

There were some construction work going on next to my room, so powertool noise didn't allow napping in the afternoons. Also, breakfast can be improved.

Renovations were being done during our stay, so there was a lot of noise. However, I imagine this would be a temporary issue. No kettle in the room.
Good location next to the Zoo, the room was clean and the mattress was comfortable. Room had some funky perimeter lights which offered more comfortable lighting at nighttime.

Budget means budget. Only a pair of shower towels and another one for the floor (I asked for face towels but they simply don't have them). No coffee/tea making facilities in the room. The pillows were very thin (we used the extra duvet for some height). No hairdryer in the room (I brought mine but apparently you can borrow one from reception). One night the alarm in the room sounded out of nowhere just before midnight, we managed to switch if off and that was it.
Great location near lots of public transport, restaurants and shops. Good selection of food served at breakfast (continental style). They have a luggage room to keep your bags if needed. Room was very spacious (but we were in the disabled room although we didn't need it). The room was cleaned daily and it was very quiet as it faced an inner courtyard. The heating system worked fine.

The rooms really need a kettle and a hairdryer and somewhere to store your clothes.
The location for walking to some of the places of interest. We were also impressed with the cleanliness. The check in and out was super easy.
