The size, the cleanliness, the staff, the beds! after a day walking, sightseeing you come back to a little oasis, away from the madness of the heart of medina. The staff couldn’t be any more helpful, even if they tried. They did everything to make our stay comfortable. I have no hesitation in recommending it. All the ladies working there, Ibrahim and Mohammed- thank you for making our stay so special.

Lovely yard with nice swimming pool. One of our two rooms had a little terrace which is unusual for riads and it was lovely. Dinner was not so great compared to other places we stayed at.

honestly, we liked everything

the Riad is located in the the exit of the Médina, away from the hustle of the souks but not that far away from it. You get a sense of calmness when you get in, and not only is the Riad very beautiful but also clean and the swimming pool (cold water, a must) was a big plus after long walks in the hotness of Marrakech. Last but definitely not least, the staff is amazing!

Some of the doorframes are smaller than what I'm used to. I would sometimes bang my arm on the frame that bends inside of the doorframe if not paying attention. I would also need to duck through some of the doorways, but this is a cultural thing where you bow before entering rooms. Also, the private car that we booked through the Riad to pick us up from the airport was late. This was a bit stressful after arriving in our first time in Africa with 3 young children.

Nice get away from the busy streets. Once you're inside the Riad, you are in a different world; I expect this to be the same for all Riads, though. The pool is nice, cold (no heating), and refreshing, especially after a hot day. There a several comfortable options for lounging around the pool. The rooftop terraces are quiet and beautiful for relaxing and stargazing. The staff was also very friendly and helpful.

Very nicely decorated riad, located in a quiet part of the medina. The swimming pool is bigger compared to the photos. The big plus is the staff, who is very polite and helpful. We would definitely stay again.

I really have nothing to say here. If I was to be picky, there was a bit of construction work happening whilst we were there but it was not intrusive and didn’t spoil our time at all.

Apart from the fact that the Riad is absolutely beautiful, the staff were also amazingly helpful and friendly. The rooms were spotless and the food served was fresh, filling and delicious.

What an amazing, beautiful riad! We were made to feel very welcome from the moment we landed in Marrakesh, with Soufian coming to meet us from our airport transfer to personally take us to the riad. Our bedroom was beautiful, with a lovely balcony overlooking the pool below and a well stocked minibar. Each morning we were served a fresh and filling breakfast, and we enjoyed our daily chats with Ibrahim before heading out for the day. There is group of amazing women who looked after the guests, and the riad, wonderfully. We spent a few days chilling on the roof in the sun, and really enjoyed how peaceful the riad was. We can't wait to re-visit and would recommend Riad Charaï to anyone.

It's a good 10.minutexl.walk to the heart of the Medina & navigation in the very narrow streets & alleyways is not easy.

Beautiful relaxing riad - a haven of tranquility away from the craziness of the Medina. Tastefully decorated with large rooms. Very comfort beds pillows,etc All the staff were very helpful especially Soufrian & Ibrahim. We arrived 3 hours,late the first eve but our 3 course was waiting for us. Breakfast were also very good.

The room had a window/ transparent glass floor in the "living room" area that made it really hard to sleep. We had to put towels over it to sleep. I know its part of the architecture but a larger rug nearby to give you the option to cover it would be great.

Location of the Riad was perfect! Good walking distance to most the locations you'll want to visit. And not too busy in the surrounding area. Lots of local restaurants nearby and food markets.

The management was truly terrible. We had so many issues with our stay that were not addressed, from arrival and throughout the stay. I would never return to this property. Rooms: the rooms are not as advertised. They were very cold, dark and not well appointed. There was intermittent hot water outage, which was very frustrating during our December stay. We had rooms opposite the main reception area, which a shaft in the middle. One of the family members of the hotel's owner would smoke very early in the morning, which we could smell and made the rooms very unpleasant. The management at first denied this was happening, and when they realized it was a family member of the owners, they did nothing. The same person who was smoking was also watching videos in a public area that were inappropriate for public viewing. The owner family had a large presence during out stay, and routinely took up the only indoor space with a fireplace and comfortable seating, leaving no options for the many guests. Breakfast was served very slow due to the lack of adequate staffing, and it was quite frustrating to endure the long wait. After discussing our complaints with the management, the offered no meaningful amends. Later, after contacting Booking.com, the property offered to discuss the issue with the owners, but we have not heard back after repeated promises to address our concerns. I would avoid this property as they have serious management issues. Also, the property is not conveniently located, and is at least 25-30 minutes from the center of town.

The local staff were very kind and helpful. Dinner the first night was very good after a late arrival. The main areas were quite nice and pretty.
