Only 6 km from Schiphol Airport, Corendon Village Amsterdam is situated in Badhoevedorp. This 4-star hotel offers 680 rooms and apartments divided over 3 hotel buildings; Plaza, Urban and Apartments. I was accommodated in the Corendon Plaza hotel not in Urban. For me it was fine. The location near the airport and free shuttle bus (every half hour departure from the hotel or airport) was helpful in easy traveling. The room was nice, clean, equipped in necessary things, quiet. The staff was very helpful, easy check-in & check-out. You can use the swimming pool, saunas or gym till 9pm. The food was also good and tasty. At the top there's a skybar where you can spend nice your time. I think the hotel is fine for business as well as private trips.

There was no clear signs where to go to catch our flight. eg level 2. many people were confused, Very long Security lines. lots of nice eating places. The police were helpful when asked about a Shuttle service to Ibis Styles and that it was running until 1am.

What I liked was the quiet relaxed atmosphere, no disturbances after about ten\11 pm. The lovely canals with the many house boats. Easy access to the center\shops though you will need to rent a bike. Meaning if you wish to be self supportive, otherwise there are enough options for eating out. They also have a very lovely lounge. Staff are very friendly, laundry you can do for free but remember to bring some washing powder yourself if you need to do any laundry. Its a great place but you have to be willing to do a bit of walking or biking. If youre fine with this it can be a place for you

Well, the Hotel is close to the Airport and you can feel a bit the airport, but was not as bad as I expected. The staff were very polite and nice. They helped us and guided us on how to visit the city of Amsterdam and where to park to be cheaper and easier to visit. The area around the hotel is nice with a lot of little canals. Not many restaurants but a few good ones.

Arriving at midnight is a nightmare and there is no other option for my travel. No staff available. Entire airport is closed up. Signage is terrible. A 10 hr layover is far from ideal and having no other options other than the $300/night Yotel (have to check out at 7am) or uncomfortable benches to sit on is just horrible.
