Modern, spacious, clean, and warm apartment that is well maintained. The host - Allan - is very friendly and helpful. We arrived on Sunday evening. All the stores were closed already, but a welcome treat was waiting for us, so we had some toast and biscuits for the next morning. The flat is perfectly located, close to the main bars and restaurants and a grocery store. Also, there is free parking that is 1 minute away. We were staying in Flat 1.

I can't recommend this property highly enough. It is in an excellent location at the end of the quayside in Stornoway within walking distance of just about anything you would need. It is also just a 3 minute drive from the ferry terminal. The apartment opens onto an inner courtyard with parking. One flight of stairs leads up from the courtyard to the apartment door. The property itself is exceptionally well equipped, particularly the kitchen. I only used the one double bed but it was really comfortable. Communication with the host (Fiona) was excellent before and during the stay. She went out of her way to deal with a schedule change that was imposed on me by an airline. I would definitely put this property at the top of the list for consideration in any future visits to Stornoway.

Our host had prepared the apartment to a high standard and provided the basic essentials for our arrival - milk, coffee, tea, sugar and a pack of shortbread biscuits.
