I had the privilege of staying at Mulino in Chianti, in the heart of Tuscany, for a week with my family. This experience turned out to be much more than just a stay, it was a real immersion into the authentic charm of the Italian countryside. The apartment where we resided was absolutely beautiful, striking the perfect balance between rustic elegance and modern comfort. Each room was tastefully decorated, combining antique furniture with touches of contemporary design to create a truly unique space. The garden surrounding the apartment was simply spectacular. It extended as far as the eye could see, blooming with all sorts of native plants that added an explosion of color to the already picturesque landscape. It was also extremely well-maintained, reflecting the care and attention of the owner, Milton. Milton, an exceptional host, is of great kindness and enriched our stay with his valuable advice on places to visit and activities to undertake. His knowledge of the region and his love for it truly added invaluable value to our experience. At the end of the day, after exploring the beauties of Tuscany, we had the opportunity to cool off in the property's pool. It was the perfect way to unwind, while admiring the sunset painting the sky with vibrant colors.

If you are looking for a calm country athmosphere in Tuscany, this is the right place. A little bit isolated from everywhere yet very clean (maybe the cleanest hotel i have ever been to!). The owners are great people and helpful, too. The lady has even a sommelier certificate, so a right person to talk about wine in the region. They serve a classical Italian breakfast with a good coffee and a very good fresh juice. (Be careful this juice is highly probiotic :D)

    The location was wonderful, the apartment was lovely but a little dark. Unfortunately we hadn’t found all the heating controls as one was hidden behind the bedroom door which we didn’t close and so we hadn’t turned that one off and for four days we got a bill of seventy euros. We wouldn’t put the wood burner on as for a few small pieces of wood it would cost ten euros. The Lady who showed us into the apartment was really lovely. If you make sure you turn all the heating off it’s a wonderful tranquil place to stay.

    A lovely apartment, very quiet. Great facilities, coffee, kettle, hob, dishwasher, washing machine etc….! The bed was comfortable. The gardens and pool area looked lovely (it’s February so didn’t use them!). We walked the short walk into the village and had some amazing food and wine. We would love to return.

    This is our first time ever seeing a castle, much less staying inside one! Our apartment was massive and the views were incredible. We had a huge terrace outside, we were glad we upgraded to the bigger apartment so we could actually stay inside of the castle. We had a small bottle of wine made on the property left for us upon arrival. The grounds were kept up and the breakfast was the best we had during our 2 week trip to Italy.

    Location is in the midst of chianti, apartment is large, living fits a family at ease, 2 bedrooms are large as well with comfortable beds. Bathrooms are great, good showers. Anti-mosquito stuff in every room, and fans as well. We got a great tour of the Winery, very friendly and informative, and great wine 😁 The pool was clean and the grounds well kept

    We loved the location - the tranquility and the far-reaching views. The large pool, and also our apartment which was well-appointed, comfortable and cool. And our hosts - Assunta & Rudiger were extremely helpful and welcoming....and made excellent pizza!

    The apartment that we had included adequate facilities to self-cater. The premises is approximately 1km from the restaurant and shopping area of Gaiole. The walk is mostly flat, but the last 80m up the gravel driveway is steep. The property has plenty of open space and a great pool and pool surrounds
