Amazing location in Magome, right on the main path. The owner is very friendly and helpful, we really enjoyed our stay here. It’s very comfy and spacious and in a historic home. :)

    Spacious apartment with our own kitchen and extremely comfortable futons (best of our trip by far!). Though there is no food available there, they were proactive in making us a dinner reservation in town. Host even hand delivered our luggage to our next hotel in Tsumago.

    Owner is very attentive to guests’ needs. The studio style apartment with the bedroom in the loft and kitchen and toilets in the ground level is unique in old town Magome. Newly renovated and clean. Really appreciate owner pre arranging 2 dinners ahead - food is of good quality

    Really lovely accommodation with everything you’ll need for a short stay. Food was delicious and the staff was very accommodating to my partners dietary needs. The room was lovely, the shared spaces are incredibly and if you like guitars; then you’re in for a treat. If you’re starting the Nakasendo Trail from Megome then the hotel is quite far up, so if you’ve got luggage - perhaps consider getting it transported to the hotel instead. Not the end of the world; just some hindsight thoughts.

    Beautiful old school house renovated to a delightful rental props. There was interesting music options in different rooms and a lovely garden overlooked by the kitchen
