The location was perfect, close to all amenities and felt really safe. The host was magnificent in offering quality information about the area and possible excursions. The view from the cabins are breathtaking looking on the ocean, villages and cliffs. There are good local and more touristy restaurants in the area. Parking on location was easy. There is a really nice pool, a basketball/tennis court. BBQ are available with some wood and a nice common area with cooking facilities. Featuring a rooftop pool and views of city, Casa da Galeria - Azores Art of Hosting is a recently renovated aparthotel set in Ponta Delgada, 12 km from Pico do Carvao. The aparthotel offers a spa experience, with its hammam, spa facilities and fitness room. There is a sun terrace and guests can make use of free WiFi, free private parking and an electric vehicle charging station. We had an exceptional stay at Casa da Galeria. The staff were a real delight and very welcoming, the service of a palace, no less! We read that the breakfast was excellent and had high expectations that were not only met but exceded. Now let's talk about the architecture and the art, everything in every nook and corners were of such good taste, everything was pleasing to look at. If you hesitate, don't! Treat yourself and stay at Casa da Galeria, you won't be disappointed! Muito obrigado!

The apartment was clean and very well situated. In front of the sea and close to sightseeing points. Even though we had the reservation of a cheaper apartment, they upgraded us to their deluxe apartment, which was amazing. I strongly recommend staying with them, since they are really helpful and everything worked smoothly. Sadly we had bad weather during our vacation, so staying in a fancier place made our experience much nicer.

This hotel was one of the nicest, if not the nicest, hotels I have stayed at in Terceira. I have been traveling to Terceira for years and have never stayed in a hotel like The Shipyard. It is brand new and everything inside and outside was done tastefully and modern. If you are not familiar with Terceira, it is incredibly humid. It is very common to smell or see mold when entering buildings or houses. This hotel is very well cared for, there were no signs of mold and our apartments were kept very clean the entire stay. The breakfast was lovely, the best pastel de natas I've had from Terceira.
