Room was very spacious and I had a large balcony which overlooked the pool. Plenty of storage and great sized desk. Breakfast was great with wide selection and also had fresh eggs cooked to order. Staff helpful and got a great dinner recommendation. Had a great stay and not a far walk from the train station. Has a great gourmet market around the corner

Great host: smooth process of getting keys, excellent communication. The best accommodation I've experienced on my many travels with my sons. Real sea view. Train to Lisabon right under the windows. Very comfortable beds. Beautiful cozy interior. Everywhere is close from here. In addition to the train, we used electric scooters to travel to many empty beaches around (Cascais and further). Really an unique experience!

It was our second time staying at TheCalming Cactus. Perfect calm green place. Everyday we were walking to the beach, every our request was perfectly satisfied by wonderful host Sofia. There is a communal swimming pool for this separate house we stayed at and the next building with 4-5 flats, but the whole 10 days we used it as if it was only ours.
