Everything was perfect. Joel and Flor are the kindest hosts and very helpful. They can help with tips and information on what to do, and also book tours for a fair price. The place really feels like a home. Is very clean and the beds are very comfortable. They are not bunks, so it all feels very nice. I would definitely recommend. Just 30 meters away you can find a bakery and a parrilla. The buses stop 10m away from the house, so you can reach the center no problem and still have a more secluded feel.

This is the best hostel I've ever stayed in during 6 months of traveling in South America. The owners really make you feel like you're at home and part of the family. Everyone tends to eat together at the large dining table which is a great way to get to know the other travelers. Some nights there are social events - pizza night, fellow travelers playing music or putting on a show. I loved everything about the atmosphere.

Patricia and her daughter Ro were amazing hosts. They will do anything for you. My luggage was lost. Ro tracked it down for me and one of them picked it up at the airport at midnight. Patricia has very little English, but communicates well with Google Translate and helped us add the app. Ro helped us with WhatsApp. Patricia will help you plan your time. Ro got us an early morning taxi. We felt well taken care of at Ulen!

We also got a room with a stunning view! Breakfast was complete and hotel very clean. The hotel is not located in the city center, but that for us was a plus as we appreciate the quietness. Hotel offers free transfers to-from the city at pre-appointed hours and moving around with a taxi is easy and cheap, when needed.
