The buses stop 10m away from the house, so you can reach the center no problem and still have a more secluded feel.

This is the best hostel I've ever stayed in during 6 months of traveling in South America. The owners really make you feel like you're at home and part of the family. Everyone tends to eat together at the large dining table which is a great way to get to know the other travelers. Some nights there are social events - pizza night, fellow travelers playing music or putting on a show. I loved everything about the atmosphere.

Featuring panoramic lake and sunset views, Hosteria Kaiken is a charming historic house built in 1964 in inner Tierra del Fuego. There is a restaurant. Fagnano Lake is 150 metres away.

With large windows overlooking the lake, rooms at Kaiken are very bright. All of them have private bathrooms. The hotel is set on a beautiful setting. The hotel is dated but clean. The room was dated but nice. It would have been nice to have seating on the balcony. The included breakfast was good. The restaurant offered good food but it lacked ambiance.

The location is also walkable downtown but I would say it takes 10 minutes and the way back is a partially uphill

Ro tracked it down for me and one of them picked it up at the airport at midnight. Patricia has very little English, but communicates well with Google Translate and helped us add the app. Ro helped us with WhatsApp. Patricia will help you plan your time. Ro got us an early morning taxi. We felt well taken care of at Ulen!
