The atmosphere and people were exceptional! One night we had an ad-hoc, family-style BBQ during which Leo assisted us with the purchase and proper grilling techniques for the local Argentine meat. The hostel is a roughly 40-minute walk from the trailheads for a couple highly recommended day hikes as well. While the location is outside of the tourist center, you can catch the colectivos for free into town or take an Uber for around 2.000 pesos. Overall, it was a warm and familial environment with guests from many countries alongside Argentineans where you can comfortably cook yourself a nice meal and share a drink with other guests. All the facilities are very clean and well organized and the breakfast was great, prepared by the kind Maribel. Flor and Gabriel were perfect! The couple gave us hints about our trip even better than some travel agencies and helped us whenever they could so we could enjoy our time there without worries I would happily change my travel dates just to be sure to stay there again

Everything was perfect! The hosts are very nice and they helped us a lot, they know lots of things just ask for their guidance. The rooms are spacious and clean and breakfast is tasty. Location is ~20-25 mins walking distance from the bus station/ port and it is perfectly safe to walk there. It is also close to the main street where there are plenty of restaurants.

The host Paula is super friendly and responded super quick (she even brought us a welcome present and helped us looking for another Appartement). 15 Minute walk to the city center - if you‘re lazy in the evening you can take a taxi back cheap.

They take care of everything, are always willing to help and to give you ideas and advise regarding tours and trekking trails. Breakfast at Aijpel is great, and it's served at the time you request. The private room is very comfortable and clean. The bed is very comfortable too. The location is good, as it's only 6 or 7 blocks from downtown.
