Demerito and Francesco are really nice and welcoming. The bungalows are very cute and in a quiet area of Uvita. The pool is refreshing and perfect after a day of activities! Madre Terra was the perfect place to start our holiday in Costa Rica. Grazie!

The best hostel I’ve ever been!!! Facilities were great, design is amazing, very well merged nature and comfort. It has its own restaurant that offers amazing food (loved the house ceviche!). What I liked the most was the good vibes and welcomness of Karo, she suggested the best things to do and was so friendly! I was debating whether to stay in Uvita or in Dominical, and choose Uvita specifically for this hostel, I was not wrong! The hostel and the place is much nicer than Dominical, would recommend!

Luminosa is located a walk away from a lovely fruit and vegetable stand, as well as a supermarket and coffee shop. Costa Rican coffee is to die for and is readily available in the main area at the front desk. There are bikes to rent and the beach is only a 10 minute ride away. The other guests and I harmoniously shared the kitchen and other communal spaces, making meals pleasant. The staff was very nice and helpful, adding to the "home away from home" energy that this hostel radiates. I really liked the locked cupboards and drawers to keep my items safe while I was out exploring. Furthermore, Cesar is super welcoming and friendly, he is the best host I have ever had. Go to him anytime for questions and recommendations.

We stayed for two nights and we were very impressed. But what impresses us at this place? So it begins with our absolutely fantastic hosts Michelle, Sebastian, Kaia. There was a really warm welcome when we arrived. They take care of you and help you for any needs. Additionally the dining atmosphere and food is incredible. The area around is clean, natural and just wonderful. Have you ever showered in an open shower? No? Try it here in your private atmosphere of your room. It is not a hotel, hostel or anything comparable. It is just staying at friends house in a beautiful scenario. Take also the time to enjoy the river trail - it is definitely worth when you step into this cool and fresh river water. 5/5 because 6/5 ist not possible at Google maps. This place is special. Really clean, close to different beaches, banks, supermarkets. The staff was enthusiastic and breakfast yummy. The pool in the back and small forest makes this place perfect.
