The garden has plenty of seating for you to take in the views. Couldn’t really have asked for more, it was cosy, comfortable and exactly what we were hoping for. I’d definitely stay again. Access to the beach was just a short walk from the property, and connected to a woodland/Loch side path to Balmaha.

Secondly, the staff are so very kind and friendly, making this place absolutely charming. The hotel is sandwiched between the loch and Conic Hill. A short (1.2 mile ish) walk but quite steep (1000 ft) hill, but has absolutely stunning views of Loch Lomond. Well worth the walk and we followed it with a meal in the restaurant afterward which is quaintly decorated and the food is delicious. The rooms are in little guest houses with private ensuite bathrooms, very cute and peaceful.
