We only stayed the one night on our way to Skye, we really liked it here and the garden room was perfect for us. Breakfast was at the nearby Drymen Inn, where we also ate the night before, and can definitely recommend that too.

We were walking the West Highland Way and this was a perfect location within easy walking distance of places to eat dinner. We stayed in the pod, which was modern, clean and quiet.

Braeside Guest House is situated in the village square. We offer quality, comfortable and affordable accommodation in a very heart of Drymen with easy access to all local amenities. Your hosts have great local knowledge and will be happy to help you make the most of your stay. From October to March we operate room only self catering mini breaks. These can be booked Monday-Thursday 4 nights or Friday-Sunday 3 nights.
The village of Drymen is home to a number of traditional Scottish pubs, the oldest licensed pub in Scotland. The jewel in our local crown is, undoubtedly, Loch Lomond. Loch Lomond is known as the gateway to the highlands. Scotland’s largest inland waterway, the Loch offers many amenities from the sedate to the fast paced. Why not take a boat trip from Balmaha to the island of Inchcailloch or many boat trips are available from Balloch (8 miles away) to explore the Loch under the majestic shadow of Ben Lomond. The village of Luss on the western shore of the loch is also well worth a visit. For those of you who fancy a wee dram, Glengoyne Distillery is only a few miles from Drymen and offers a first class visitor experience, including a tour of the facility and a whisky tasting at the end!
