The gated property was in the middle of the village; super easy to find, and to use as a base to explore the gorgeous surrounding Tokaj wine region. The historic Mad Synagogue, food market and restaurants were within walking distance, or a very short drive. The bedroom had a separating door; the bed and sofa were very comfortable, and the tiled bathroom spacious. There was also the option to sit outside on the patio for fresh air, or to eat. Since the owner is also a vintner, there was a variety of pre-cooled wines available for purchase. The hosts, and sister, were kind and took time to make me feel comfortable and welcomed.
