What a gem of a hotel! Right on the lake at the bus station and boat launch, so it was super easy to get anywhere. We had a Japanese style room, which was something new for us, but a fun experience. Our room faced Mt. Fuji, and we woke the second day to a beautiful view! The owner was extremely friendly, spoke English well, and helped us plan our days so we maximized our time with the weather. He and his wife also ran the little restaraunt and served up delicious food for breakfast and dinner (which was great as most places close early in the evening). If I were going to be back in the area, I would definitely stay here again!

There was so much space, the staff are really kind and helpful, the location is great - walking distance to the town and station for adventures but on the outskirts for peace and quiet. The breakfast was an experience in itself, we felt really spoiled. The Onsen was just beautiful, we booked a private one because you can't wear a swimming costume, really easy and cheap to book and just stunning.

The room itself was sensational with our own private onsen on a balcony facing the mountains of Hakone. Customer service was also second to none - Even compared to other places in Japan!
