She welcomed us with a warm and friendly manner; and with a great Scottish sense of humour. We loved her! The room was immaculate. The linen and bath towels smelled like fresh laundry, which was very pleasant. You will find everything you need in the room, because Agnes thought of it all. And there is also a pub just around the corner, which is very convenient if you dont want to drive.

Our room had views of the bay. The water pressure was out of this world - especially coming from California and after a cold wet walkabout on the island. To be honest, we’re not vegan, but we consider ourselves vegan-friendly and the food was superb.

The cabin was very cozy inside - lots of heating, comfy blankets, games to play, movies to watch. The kitchen was fully stocked to make anything you wish. They provided tea, coffee, and the cooking basics. There was even some lovely Arran jam shortbread left for us. If you're looking for a relaxing getaway, I absolutely recommend Oakbank Farm's cabin! As an added bonus, the view is incredible. We had some amazing weather where we could enjoy the view, and we also had a very rainy and wet day, but the cabin was the best place to hide away from the weather. We will be booking here again!

The manager Alan, was a great guy ran the place well. Very clean and warm , the bad reviews I read are rubbish. We were a group 4 and all our rooms were excellent.
