Providing free WiFi, parking on-site and a garden, the recently renovated property of Sandford Meadow Guest House, offers rooms in Oxford, 8.9 km from University of Oxford and 21 km from Blenheim Palace. The property features garden views and is 31 km from Notley Abbey and 45 km from Newbury Racecourse. The accommodation provides full-day security and luggage storage space for guests. The owner (Ric) was very kind and helpful. Beautiful house, lovely rooms, very clean, felt safe, and instructions were very easy to follow. Mimi (the cat) is very gentle and sweet. She only has access to the kitchen and outside, unless you let her in to the rest of the house. Naturally, we loved her so we let her roam freely through the house (when there were no other guests around) and she even spent one of the nights with us! Honestly such a great stay and would so easily recommend and go back. For breakfast, you're a 3 minute walk from Proof Social Bakehouse (pricey but AMAZING pastries, check opening times on google maps), and 5 minutes to the bus stop to go to Abingdon or Oxford (about 15mins to get to either). Thank you!! Luis & Rick

The Foundry Room. So beautiful. Great location, so central and yet felt so peaceful and private
Comfortable room, great location and surprisingly quiet considering it is on a main road. Also some parking spaces available.
idyllic farmhouse cottage in English countryside (yet just minutes drive away from Oxford city centre); traditional room decor with original doors and bedframe, paired with modern features e.g. bathroom; excellent breakfast provided with all options catered for within a beautiful equestrian centre made for a perfect Oxfordshire retreat!
Great location. Excellent breakfast but limited in timing. Comfy beds and cosy rooms. Bit of noise from window but not a huge issue.
Quiet location. Short walk to city centre. Private parking. Comfortable beds. Good value for money.
Great location and proximity to city centre but lovely and quiet:. Cute area.
Great location - easy to walk to station and places to eat. Great choice of breakfast with fresh fruit, yoghurt and cereals with very tasty cooked breakfast. Very quiet room, comfortable bed and a lovely hostess. Nice to have tea/coffee & fridge in ensuite room (and microwave but did not use)
great location, only about 25 mins from the city centre, really comfortable beds, very friendly staff. plenty of tea, coffee, milk etc and very quiet over night.
Ideal location for visiting all areas of the Cotswolds. Even on a main road the accommodation was quiet and private. Enjoyable breakfast, especially daily fresh fruit salad. Twin beds.
