Less than 100 metres from the Rosskopf ski slope, Steindl's B&B is a 5-minute walk from Vipiteno town centre. It boasts rooms with Sterzing Mountain and town views, and a buffet breakfast. Ski storage is also available. My daughter and I stayed in one of the new rooms in this lovely family hotel. The room was spacious, comfortable and spotlessly clean. The breakfast is rightly famous for its quality and choice. I was concerned prior to arriving that it was next to the bus station but this proved to be a real benefit, the surrounding area was clean and quiet and the bus service to local hiking trails were effectively door to door. The owners and all the staff staff were charming and very helpful, especially Renate!

At the bed and breakfast, each unit is equipped with bed linen and towels. Our stay at Ameiserhof was nothing short of fabulous. The location was perfectly situated near restaurants and shops. Ameiserhof is beautiful and spotless inside and out, authentically built and designed in the most tasteful Tirolean style. Our rooms were perfectly setup with all amenities for a most comfortable stay. But most wonderful of all was the host who provided every guest with attention, knowledgeable advice and suggestions for restaurants, shops and events in the area. The breakfast offering she provided was spectacular, making the best decorated cappuccinos and lattes we have ever seen. Breakfast included a huge assortment of breakfast meats and cheeses with wide varieties of breads, fruits and pasteries. What was most impressive was this hosts ability to offer a multi-course dinner and dessert with an assortment of mixed drinks and beers that will knock your socks off. To add to all of this, our host helped us out with ensuring we made our 5:00 am train in Bolzano by fixing us breakfast at 3:30 AM- WOW!!! She also arranged a taxi at 4:00 am!! What a FABULOUS TIME!!! If you make the wise decision to visit Colalbo, Italy- you MUST plan to stay at AMEISERHOF!!!

At the bed and breakfast, every unit has bed linen and towels. The guesthouse is in a great location, within easy walking distance to everything. Jacqueline, the owner, provided excellent pre-arrival instructions. The room was lovely and supremely clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good. Most importantly, though, Jacqueline helped us for days before our arrival when our luggage did not arrive by courier as expected, which you can imagine was very stressful for us. She went above and beyond to try to help us. We cannot thank you enough, Jacqueline, for being our advocate while we were on our way to your place (we were off grid, high in the mountains) and after our arrival.

Alexia and Bernhard do a great job in managing the place. Breakfast of very high quality, with home made fruit salad, pies, marmelade… We arrived late and there was a group of people having a good time together at the reception. we thought they were private guests of the owner but no, they were the guests of the hotel having fun together.

Buffet and Italian breakfast options with fruits and cheese are available every morning at the bed and breakfast. At B&B Gasthaus Lieg, the family-friendly restaurant is open for dinner and lunch and specialises in Italian cuisine. The location of the gastahaus is amazing for anyone that would like to enjoy the natural landscape and relax. The people working there are very polite and helpful. The rooms were cosy and very clean. I would definitely recommend this accommodation to visit the dolomites, the surrounding villages and Bolzano city.

Silvana was kind and professional, helpful with recommendations about places to visit, and accommodating with our almost 2 year old. we had a nice Mountain View and access to a balcony for our son to play and get some fresh air.
