Tipp: after Col‘s delicious breakfast have a look at Leo‘s astonishing museum. And lying in bed listen in the evening with open window to the birds in this unique garden!

The nearest airport is Richard Pearse Airport, 28 km from the bed and breakfast. property and house was super cool with original fixtures and wood everywhere. Booking provided separate bedroom, with little porch off the bedroom, private bath with soaker tub, large private sitting room with amazing windows overlooking gardens with songbirds offering free entertaining, and private breakfast nook. Host was super friendly and accommodating for breakfast request (asked for yogurt and got home made yogurt).

Brenda gave us a very warm welcome with something to drink. Which was nice after our journey. She gave us several suggestions for restaurants and things to do in and around Christchurch. Our room and the breakfasts were very good. If possible, we will come back.

It's totally perfect in every sense. The house is amazing! Isolated, with amazing view on a bay. Hosts are super friendly - they made us wonderful breakfast (really - it's amazing) and prepared as hot bathtub for the night. They are also very interesting couple - read the book :). In the morning I swam alone in the bay (easily reachable from the property). The whole experience was perfect and imaginable value for this money.
