Was was near a bar/cafe that was open for snack type foods. The rooms were very clean. I went out for a large lunch before the restaurants closed, so I didn't have dinner there, but I heard from some of the others it was delicious. The breakfast there was well worth the nominal cost with cereal, milk bread/toast jams and jellies, coffee and orange juice. They started it early enough so you could still get a great start on the walking for that new day.

The owner very friendly, he has transformed a centuries-old dilapidated house into a charming rural hotel with good taste! We had a delicious menu for a modest price and a hearty breakfast. The owner and his wife were extremely kind and helpful in sorting out our onward journey. Castrojeriz is a delightful, ancient village - lots of charm and a warm welcome for visitors.
