The Bay Lodge was a wonderful experience on many levels! From the greeting by Clare the uber friendly owner who directed me to my really nice single room with a balcony and answered any and all questions that I had. The balcony was a nice touch even in January where I had a nice view of St. Michael's Mount. Bay lodge is very conveniently located, about a ten minute walk from the train station and town. The breakfast cooked up by Kevin was delicious and very filling. Clare was great to talk to about goings on in Penzance and the surrounding area; she even gave me a "Clare" map with suggestions of places to go. Clare and Kevin could not be more accommodating. I've stayed at a number of B&B's, but I must say The Bay Lodge is now my favorite.

Dedicated parking area with access to an electric socket for charging an electric car (for which I paid a very fair additional cost for the electricity consumed). Highly recommended.

Easy 10 mins walk to town centre shops and bars (I highly recommend the historical Turks Head for great food). 15 mins to bus station for easy trips to St Ives plus the stunning old fishing villages of Mousehole, Marazion etc. Or walk along the path!
