We had a most enjoyable stay at B&B Poggiolo. Andrea and Valeria are wonderful and helpful hosts. Our suite is spacious, with a fabulous view of Lake Maggiore and the islands. The rooms are tastefully furnished; the bathroom is modern; everything is spotless. We slept very well at night as the house and surrounding area were completely quiet and peaceful. Breakfast was set up in a nice room downstairs, and the spread was lovely every morning. For dinner, there’s a highly rated restaurant within walking distance. One could also take a short drive to nearby towns or to Stresa. We had a rental electric car and used a charging station 12-minutes away on the route to A26. We went to the islands, of course, and drove around Lake Maggiore, stopping at a few towns. The whole area is beautiful.

Wonderful stay. Welcome and hosting was superb. Lovely breakfast on a terrace with knock-out views. Beautiful and tranquil garden (but don't ask about the mosquitos..!). A bit out of Stresa so you def need a car but there is ample parking. Lovely to have a cat on the premises, too! Really would recommend.

The breakfast was extraordinary delicious! I need to come back to taste all fantastic dishes. They were very helpful in making a reservation in advance in a very good restaurant nereby. The food there was awesome - including a lake view! it was a wonderful start for my trip so I was able to reach the sea only by walking (starting from Susa). Without their food I might have not been able to do that ;) Thanks a lot for your warm welcome. We had a great time!

Magognino is a treasure in Lago Maggiore area at only few minutes of picturesque town of Stresa without saying that from there you can easily arrange lake's tours to famous Borromean Islands or to the top of Mottarone Mount!

With a very beautiful view of the Borromean Islands from the balcony! We were warmly welcomed by the owners, who were very helpful in booking a restaurant and choosing fun trips in the area.
