Everything was amazing. We really enjoyed the time in this Ryokan. Great onsens outside and inside, 3 private onsens open 24-7. No reservations needed. Amazing dinner and breakfast. Relaxing atmosphere and staff that do everything to help you to enjoy your stay. The Ryokan is located near a small river and rice fields.

The outside onsen was perfect and exactly what I had hoped for my. Also we had it all to ourselves in the afternoon which allowed us to peacefully enjoy the forest scenery while bathing in this beautiful onsen all by ourselves. Our tattoos were not a problem and the staff was incredibly helpful. Both dinner and breakfast were exceptional and traditional Japanese meals with multiple courses. You can also book their private onsen which is only 1000 yen for 45 min.

We asked about a laundromat in town and they let us use theirs, which was great because the other one closed before 7pm and we would've had to rush back from dinner or our onsen in Kurokawa village.
