This hotel features a rooftop infinity pool, conference rooms, a buffet and an à la carte restaurant and four bars. We were very pleased with our stay as the hotel was dare I say, the best accomodation I’ve ever stayed in. The bars were amazing as well as the staff, that was exceptionally kind and helpful. I definitely want to come back here someday.:) Also the side ocean view was beautiful.

Even in bad weather you can still relax with a view of the sea :) Comfortable beds, excellent breakfast. Parking at the hotel. The location is also good for trips to nearby levadas by car. We also ordered a massage (standard quality) and ate at a Japanese restaurant (longer wait, but good food). Wifi without problems.

Casa Da Piedade’s rooms feature wood furniture, as well as a TV and telephone. Each private bathroom includes a walk-in shower. Excellent room. Very comfortable bed. Gorgeous grounds. Breakfast was absolutely delicious. We loved our stay and highly recommend this hotel.

The newly renovated 4-star Hotel Baía Azul is ideally situated a 4-minute walk from Funchal’s beachfront. It offers 3 swimming pools, 3 restaurants, a Spa and a sun deck overlooking the Atlantic Ocean and the gardens. The lobby of the hotel was well appointed with great light and amazing view. Conveniently located with good parking. The beds were super comfortable and the size of the room was perfect. Breakfast buffet was very generous and they even included customized eggs. The hotel personnel were all nice and helpful
