Koura Lodge was located in such a gorgeous, peaceful spot on the lake. We were lucky to have perfect weather to enjoy the setting - plus having a sunset spa and sauna right by the lake was a big bonus. Our host was the most sweet and helpful lady, I adored her. The rooms were great, all the different breakfast options provided were simple and yet really tasty. My partner and I felt very well looked after.

Very peaceful. Less than 10 minutes drive from the hustle and bustle of town, set in a beautiful location overlooking fields, valleys & hills for as far as the eye could see. Lovely place to sit with a cold glass of wine watching the sunset over the hills. Very friendly hosts and a yummy breakfast to start the day!

It’s close to eat street and activities like the wildlife zoo, spa’s, agrodome etc. The breakfast included is a must do! Would highly recommend getting breakfast including during your stay here.

We stayed at the tent and were surprised it felt like an African safari. Good beds and well stocked. Loved it!!

Our stay with Roger and Kat was wonderful. The location is fab with the garden right on the lake and lovely to watch the sunset of an evening. Breakfast was fab, with a choice of English or Asian (I tried both and they were both great). The best part is the hosts though, who both welcomed us into their home with such kindness and we joined them on the porch with other guests of an evening for a friendly drink. Rooms were spotless with a great powerful shower and comfy beds, don't have any negative to report!!

Absolutely stunning views from wrap around verandah.

Quiet peaceful location. Friendly owners, they let me do a tub of laundry and leant me an airer to dry it. I gave some money for this as only fair with the cost of living nowadays. Basic, spacious accommodation for those on a budget. Continental breakfast left in full size fridge. Sea view from kitchen window. Table and chairs on verandah. Bed was ok, not super comfortable, but not too bad.
