Very nice place, nicely decorated and has everything you need! Best shower we’ve had in all of our South America trip. In walking distance to Baños or very cheap taxis. Very friendly and helpful host, I would definitely recommend staying here!

I really liked the location outside the center, much less noise and more privacy. There's a big yard, beautiful views, decent kitchen, comfortable beds, good towels, and friendly hosts. There's also a nice hiking trail nearby. I'd book here again without hesitation.

Hacienda Guamag is set in a calm and beautiful place that has no road access and can be reached by tarabita. by crossing the gorge with a beautiful view over the waterfall you leave hassle behind and enter beautiful place run by a super host Marcelo and his family. We traveled with two kids and they loved everything about the place - tarabita ride, trout pond to fish own dinner, swing under the tree. The room was also very nice with two big comfortable beds. excellent stay! highly recommended.

Wonderful art was everywhere! I loved the hammock in our room (and a fireplace was ther too but we didn't use it). The in-massage I received at their in-house spa was phenomenal. The place is outside of Banos, in a tiny village. It is an easy walk to the gorgeous Diablo waterfall and the village doesn't feel as touristy as Banos itself. There is a river running outside of the hotel, which was lovely to fall asleep to.
