The Shepherds hut had everything we needed and the hot tub was great (it does take a few hours to heat up but lovely once it’s ready!) It was my partners birthday and there was a little sign up and a bottle of Prosecco to celebrate which was a lovely touch. Unfortunately we couldn’t get into any of the local pubs for food but we did go to a pub a 20 minute drive away in Mungrisdale called Mill Inn, which was a really nice traditional country pub.JJasmineYoung couple

Had a treat for the dog when we got there, such a lovely touch. Plenty of board games etc and a big file of nearby places to eat and things to do. We will defiantly be back, hopefully for longer than two nights next time! Thank you so much - we loved it! :)

The car parking facilities were excellent and the chalet was quiet throughout. Very relaxing environment with more sheep than people in the vicinity. Heating was very effective and easy to control once I'd found the switch hidden behind the wardrobe.
