25 Hesket Park is a 38 foot by 20 foot wooden-clad lodge with a large decking area to the front and garden-side of the property. The garden has views of the Northern Lake District mountains and the North Pennines. Just 15 minutes from Penrith and 10 minutes from Carlisle and the M6- the lodge has excellent links to many local hotspots. There is also a regular bus service stop just 1 minute's walk away and train station on the historic Settle to Carlisle line just a 5 minute's drive away. This has direct links to Carlisle, Appleby, Settle and Leeds. The lodge is within touching distance of the North Pennines and just a short journey to Hadrian's Wall, Gretna Green and the Scottish Boarders. It is ideally located 30 minutes from the shores of Lake Ullswater and many Historic Castles and National Trust properties including Carlisle Castle, Lowther Castle and Gardens and Brougham Castle. Guests can also benefit from a 15% discount on food at The Crown Inn, Kirkoswald on request. Inside there is a good sized kitchen with electric oven/grill, fridge/freezer, washing machine, tumble drier and dishwasher- Fully equipped with pots, pans, crockery and utensils. A large separate living area with 4 seater sofa, 2 seater chair and 4KTV , a dining table that seats 4. There is a bathroom with full-sized bath, toilet and hand basin and towel rail. The main bedroom has a double bed, bedside table, walk in wardrobe and ensuite with toilet, shower and hand wash basin. The second bedroom has a single bed, bedside table built in wardrobes and drawers.There is a travel cot available on request for children aged 0-3 inclusive. This can be used by the additional infant at no extra cost. The lodge is centrally heated with a combi-boiler which also provides hot water.

Welcome to our family holiday lodge on the edge of the Northern Lake District. We have two small children who love spending time at Hesket park and the surrounding area. The lodge is on a small site with a small childrens play area enclosed. It is situated on the A6 in between Penrith and Carlise J41 andJ42 M6. Keswick in the lake distict is approx 40 mins drive, Carlisle City centre 15 mins, Gretna Green 25 mins. Plenty of local walks plus the lake district Hadrians wall and North Pennines AONB are close by.
