The flat was in a lovely location only a 5-minute walk away from the Cathedral and right next to one of the markets. It is nicely furnished and very modern with a lovely balcony. Host was lovely and responded to messages within minutes. We arrived in Palermo earlier than expected and they were accommodating and allowed us to check in earlier with less than an hour notice. Would definitely recommend to anyone visiting Palermo! One thing to keep in mind is that if you're going by car the streets around are very narrow.

The nearest airport is Catania Fontanarossa, 31 km from At Armando's Home, and the property offers a paid airport shuttle service. Armando might be the most wonderful person in Italy. The house is lovely, great views across the Ionian Sea to Calabria. A comfy living area to lounge in. A cozy kitchen to have a caffè and chat with Armando. We went trekking on Etna, toured around the mountain, and had apertivi in Taormina. His house is located near everything. He’s a real gem, full of interesting ideas about what to do and where to eat. We were sad to leave

The air-conditioned rooms come with original furnishings and a flat-screen TV. Very atmospheric and historic villa, especially when you like a non standard hotel. Beautiful garden, a nice pool, chickens and a few turtles, which our kids loved, wonderful breakfast and excellent host! Will recommend!

The cottage is equipped with indoor/outdoor games for kids and for adults too. 😊 The interior decor is a combination of vintage and modern style with a touch of Christmas  decorations which made it more magical. 🥰 I highly recommend Baita Nord Etna, and we will definitely be back.
